Here’s a simple node.js application which you can run on your Backup Primary to do something magical.
It monitors your Primary and executes appropriate commands for the Backup Primary to “take control” if the Primary gets into trouble.
No big whoop. I’ve told tons of people that writing something like this wouldn’t be hard, so I decided to do it. I was right, it wasn’t hard. I wrote it to work against Tableau Server v9 in honor of its pure and unadulterated geniusocousness, Yes, that’s a real word. You read it here first. On the Internet.
